The Sheet Metal Worker works within the Sheet Metal fabrication shop. Operating hand and CNC machinery to cut and form precision parts and assemblies. Job Duties and Responsibilities:Operation of CNC cutting machinery, i.e. Punch Press, Fiber Laser, Omax Water jetDeburring, drilling, and sanding of parts producedLoading/unloading material from machines and material racksOperation of Press Brake to form complex assembliesInterpretation of drawings, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of productsCoordinating daily work with direct supervisor.Inspection of completed work for quality standards and GDIT conformance requirements.Perform preventative maintenance and upkeep to machine and workstation.Other duties as assigned.
