Job Description
GDIT has an opportunity for a Forward Repair Activity(FRA) Site Lead supporting U.S. military operations in Ft. Bragg, NC. This role supports maintenance, logistics, financial, and personnel management functions that keep the RSC operating effectively.
Meaningful work and impact:
Managing daily FRA operations across maintenance, logistics, finance, and personnel.
Perform administrative and analytical tasks to ensure mission readiness and compliance with contract requirements.
Maintenance Management
Ensure maintenance operations follow Army regulations, technical manuals, the Worldwide Field Support PWS, and customer support agreements.
Use GCSS-Army and related systems to monitor trends, readiness, and repair times.
Develop and maintain internal and external SOPs.
Set shop priorities based on ACOR guidance and review weekly/regular reports.
Lead weekly maintenance/production control meetings and drive improvements in turnaround times.
Logistics Management
Oversee GCSS-A/4SIGHT inputs, supply management, procurement, shipping/receiving, inventory accountability, and warehouse operations.
Ensure compliance with DoD/Army logistics policies.
Work closely with PMO logistics SMEs as needed.
Monitor purchase requests, transportation timelines, travel approvals, asset accountability, and TMDE calibration.
Attend weekly PMO logistics meetings.
Financial Management
Assist in managing multimilliondollar budgets funded by MIPRs.
Track expenditures to ensure alignment with ROM, CSAs, and ACOR approvals.
Prevent off-charging and ensure workload aligns with funding.
Review CTN balances, approve financial documents, support ROM development, and produce required reports.
Participate in weekly budget meetings.
Personnel Management
Support hiring, onboarding, performance management, training, and workforce development.
Ensure compliance with requirements and maintain safe, positive working conditions.
Maintain accountability, review leave and travel reports, and conduct manpower analyses.
Monitor and document employee performance.
Travel Requirements
Travel to remote locations throughout the US to assess workforce welfare and contract compliance.
Flexibility
Support all functional areas as needed and assist during workload surges.
Perform additional duties assigned by the Program Director.
What Youll Need to Succeed
Education
Bachelors degree in a related field (BA/BS) or equivalent work experience
Required Experience
8+ years of related experience in Military Maintenance Operations IAW AR 750-1
Background in military mechanical and electronics support
Experience with supervision, staffing, customer service, strategic planning, budget development, equipment maintenance, and technical leadership
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, GCSS-A (SME-level preferred), and electronics troubleshooting
Ability to ensure Man Hours and Work Orders Reports meet CDRLS deadlines
Experience conducting technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements based on customer requirements
