Join us!</p><p></p><p><b>Job Description:</b></p><p>The local markets Credit Officer II role is a highly skilled resource, providing expert level advisory guidance in the most complex, integrated debt capital solutions for commercial banking clients.  Products include lines of credit, term loans, real estate loans, and syndicated loans.  The CO manages all of the ancillary credit exposure to clients. The CO maintains knowledge of other BofA products including Investment Banking and Treasury Management that have credit exposure, and leverages product expertise to deliver the best possible and optimally integrated strategic solution for the client or prospect. This job includes responsibilities for structuring, negotiating, documenting credit analysis, independently assessing historic and projected borrower financial information, evaluating adherence to policy and procedure, providing loan structure analysis and recommendations, and monitoring portfolio performance.  This role reports to the Commercial Credit Manager or Executive that supports the market.</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p>Evaluates credit worthiness and provides analysis and decisioning on whether a client should receive a credit facility</p></li><li><p>Collaborates with Client Management teams to perform analysis of credit opportunities and prospects at the bank</p></li><li><p>Manages client and prospect originations including initial credit structuring, underwriting, legal documentation review, and deal closing</p></li><li><p>Delivers on data accuracy and quality of underwriting metrics in compliance with internal policies and procedures</p></li><li><p>Monitors the client's operating performance and financial condition, proactively identifying issues and opportunities</p></li><li><p>Monitors assigned portfolios of client loan maturities and collaborates with Analysts to continuously recognize and address risks in a timely manner</p></li><li><p>Escalates and debates deteriorating assets in partnership with the Special Assets Group and Risk as appropriate</p></li><li><p>Participates in Regional and Market meetings to communicate credit delivery best practices and results</p></li></ul><p><b>Skills:</b></p><ul><li><p>Collaboration</p></li><li><p>Decision Making</p></li><li><p>Loan Structuring</p></li><li><p>Underwriting</p></li><li><p>Written Communications</p></li><li><p>Analytical Thinking</p></li><li><p>Attention to Detail</p></li><li><p>Credit Documentation Requirements</p></li><li><p>Interpret Relevant Laws, Rules, and Regulations</p></li><li><p>Mentoring</p></li><li><p>Issue Management</p></li><li><p>Negotiation</p></li><li><p>Oral Communications</p></li><li><p>Prioritization</p></li><li><p>Risk Management</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Required Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>10+ years of solid Commercial Banking Underwriting experience</p></li><li><p>Experience in financial analysis, structuring, underwriting and portfolio management</p></li><li><p>Analytical/technical skills, including financial accounting, modeling and loan structuring</p></li><li><p>Strong communication skills; ability to communicate vertically, horizontally, and externally</p></li><li><p>Industry knowledge across multiple sectors     </p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Minimum Education Requirement: </b>BA/BS Degree Desired</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><b>Shift:</b></p>1st shift (United States of America)<p></p><p></p><p><b>Hours Per Week: </b></p>40</div>
