Full Stack Engineer
Position Summary
Join Deloitte's Cyber Engineering team to help build technology that supports the next generation of cybersecurity services. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will design, develop, and enhance applications across frontend and backend environments, working with modern engineering practices and cloud-based technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions that support client and business needs.

Work you'll do
As a Full Stack Engineer on the Cyber Engineering team, you will be responsible for...
- Collaborating with business stakeholders, engineers, and team leadership to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Designing, developing, testing, and enhancing full stack applications across frontend and backend technologies
- Building and integrating application programming interfaces, microservices, and cloud-based services to support product functionality
- Supporting product quality through code reviews, testing, debugging, and continuous integration and continuous deployment practices
- Contributing to technical analysis, solution design, and delivery activities that support client outcomes and product development

Deloitte's Cyber team helps organizations navigate a changing threat landscape by simplifying complexity and supporting resilient operations. The Cyber Engineering team focuses on building cybersecurity technology capabilities that support the future of Deloitte's cybersecurity services.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or a similar technical field
- 1-3+ years experience in the following areas:
- 1-3+ years of experience in full stack development across frontend and backend technologies, including experience with Angular, React, or Next.js and JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- 1-3+ years of experience in backend development using Node.js, Python with Django or Flask, or Java with Spring Boot
- 1-3+ years of experience building and consuming Representational State Transfer application programming interfaces and working with microservices or serverless architectures in production environments
- 1-3+ years of experience working with relational databases and at least 1 NoSQL database, and using Git, Azure DevOps or similar tools, Docker, Agile or Scrum methods, automated testing, and continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines
- 1-3+ years of experience developing, integrating, or deploying artificial intelligence, Generative AI, or agentic AI solutions within enterprise applications on Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Ability to travel 20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred:
- Experience with object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean coding practices
- Experience building secure, reusable, responsive, and maintainable applications
- Experience with secure development practices, DevOps, DevSecOps, web security, GitOps, or Kubernetes customization
- Experience with OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, Neo4j, Memgraph, Maven, or Gradle
- Experience with Bootstrap, jQuery, or JavaServer Pages in legacy or mixed-technology environments
- Cloud certification in Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $93,000 to $171,300.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
