Certified Nursing Assistant Neuroscience at Providence Milwaukie Hospital . This posting represents a 0.75 FTE, night shift opening (7:00pm7:30am), scheduled as three 12hour shifts during one week of the pay period and two 12hour shifts during the alternate week, including every other Friday and Saturday night.

In this position you will:

• Contribute to a high functioning team



• Assist RN with admissions, discharges, and transfers



• Measure and record vital signs, output, and weights



• Collect specimens and perform fingerstick capillary blood tests



• Assist with client mobility and transfers, using lifts and safe patient handling devices



• Opportunities for continuing education and professional development, including annual CNA conference



• Other duties as assigned

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care under the supervision and direction of an RN, utilizing the care plan. The CNA assists a Registered Nurse (RN) in providing comprehensive nursing care by performing specified duties and functions under the direct supervision of the RN.

Required Qualifications:

• Upon hire: Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License



• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association



• Experience in hospital or long-term setting.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
