Respond to student inquiries relating to financial aid.</span><br><span style="color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 1); font-style: normal; text-indent: 0">2. Investigate and resolve student concerns.</span><br><span style="color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 1); font-style: normal; text-indent: 0">3. Develop and manage appropriate databases.</span><br><span style="color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 1); font-style: normal; text-indent: 0">4. Maintain current knowledge of financial aid regulations and federal tax law.</span></p></dd> <dt><h2>Position Specific Essential Duties</h2></dt> <dd><p></p><ol style="margin-left: 10.25px; margin-bottom: 3pt"><li><span style="color: inherit">Draft letters, memos, and other documents and correspondence.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Prepare reports and other documents for external agencies.</span></li><li>Develop Spreadsheets to enter and track data.</li><li>Understand and communicate extensive financial aid processes and regulations to students and families.</li><li>Process and manage Continuing Education (CE) financial aid scholarship program data in CCBC systems.</li><li>Conduct verifications in order to facilitate the accurate student data necessary to process financial aid.</li><li>Provide logistical support in the processing of CE <s> </s>financial aid<s> </s>applications. </li><li>Process audit reports, research and analyze the data, and provide detailed information and logistical support upon request.</li><li>Collaborate with other departments in outreach activities.</li><li>Assist specialized populations to complete the FAFSA in a timely and accurate manner in order to facilitate the correct financial aid award.</li><li>Provide guidance to front counter staff with student issues including, but not limited to, financial aid process. </li><li><span style="color: inherit">Review and assist with processing of high-level reports.</span></li></ol></dd> </dl>
