<div id="details-info" class="tab-pane active fr-view" style="margin:2px"> <dl> <dt><h2>Class Description</h2></dt> <dd><p></p><p style="margin: 0"><span style="color: inherit">The purpose of this class is to provide administrative support to the Financial Aid Office through the performance of numerous tasks associated with the delivery of financial aid.</span></p></dd> <dt><h2>Minimum Requirements</h2></dt> <dd><p></p><p style="margin: 0;"><span style="color: inherit;">High School diploma/GED and five years related financial aid experience working in an academic environment or associate’s degree and three years related financial aid experience working in academic environment. Ability to work a flexible schedule with occasional Saturday work as needed, especially during peak enrollment periods. Hours Monday, Tuesday either 8:30 am - 4:30 pm or 9:00 am - 5:00 pm: Wednesday and Thursday 11:00 am - 7:00 pm and Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. </span></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 0px 0.25in; color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;" data-pasted="true"><strong style=" font-weight: 700;"><span style=" color: inherit;">Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and/or years of experience in the field. Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale</span></strong><span style=" color: inherit;">. </span></p><div style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0px; text-align: center;"><span style=" color: inherit;"><strong style=" font-weight: 700;">For Best Consideration Please Apply By: March 10, 2026</strong></span></div></dd> <dt><h2>Class Specific Essential Duties</h2></dt> <dd><p></p><ol style="margin-left: -0.25in; margin-bottom: 3pt"><li><span style="color: inherit">Respond to student inquiries relating to financial aid.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Investigate and resolve student concerns regarding financial aid.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Develop and manage appropriate databases.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Maintain current knowledge of financial aid regulations and federal tax law. </span></li></ol><p style="margin: 0">Essential Job Duties are intended to be examples of duties and are not intended to be all inclusive. There will be other duties as assigned.</p></dd> <dt><h2>Position Specific Essential Duties</h2></dt> <dd><p></p><ol style="margin-left: 10.25px; margin-bottom: 3pt"><li><span style="color: inherit">Demonstrate detailed knowledge of financial aid as it relates to verification requirements, including but not limited to the federal income tax regulations and federal and state financial aid regulation.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Responsible for review and awarding of Federal Work Study, process External requests, and assist with packaging of Title IV financial aid awards.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Assist with off-campus outreach activities.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Provide Tier II support to Student Central (Tier I) staff (Virtual and On-Campus) with training, assisting with escalated student issues as it relates to financial aid processes, awarding, disbursement, and packaging questions, etc. </span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Review and assist with processing of high-level reports.</span></li></ol></dd> </dl>
