Food Production Maintenance Mechanic 2nd shift Braintree, MA

Hours: 2^nd Shift - 130pm to 1130pm (including overtime)- Saturday's during busy season

Pay: $25.00- $33.00 an hour

The primary role of the Industrial production manufacturing technician is to provide competent and effective mechanical and electrical maintenance support to the production line and facility operations in a safe manner.

Essential Functions:

The manufacturing technician directly supports daily plant productivity and operations. This position performs routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, servicing, and repairs on all food processing and packaging equipment utilizing a variety of hand and power tools.

In addition, this individual ensures that all good manufacturing policies, food safety/quality regulations and safety rules are consistently met.

Responsible for set-up of assigned machine(s) to ensure daily production goals are met.

Responsible for coordination of product changeovers to maximize line efficiencies.

Verify that lines are supplied with necessary components to meet daily production schedule.

Requirements and Qualifications:

3+ years in an industrial environment in a mechanical or related position

Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems

Read & understand electrical drawings

Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems repair
