Prenestine Williams-Porter was born in Detroit, Michigan. The second of four children blessed to Rev. and Mrs. Welton Williams Sr. Later, Prenestine was blessed with two wonderful children and one grandson of her own. She teaches Vocal Music for the Detroit Board of Education and serves as Head Director at Williams Chapel Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor James C. Jones.

Her motto is, “I am blessed to be a blessing” and she affirms her only desire is to use her God-given talents to bless others and to be a servant of the Most High God
