REPSONSIBILITIES: The Department of English and Foreign Languages at Claflin University seeks to hire an associate professor or professor to chair the department for August, 2012. Responsibilities will include: supervising the activities of the department, teaching literature for majors and general education courses (three classes per semester), advising, committee work, community service, grant writing, and research.
QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate should have a Ph.D. in British, American, African American or Comparative Literature.
SALARY: Commensurate with experience
