The Ithaca College School of Music anticipates an opening for a full-time, one-year position (pending available funding) in music theory at the rank of Assistant Professor, to begin fall 2010. Teaching duties will include undergraduate theory and analysis, twentieth century analysis, sightsinging, and ear training courses.

Completed doctorate in music theory and demonstrably excellent full-time college teaching experience (at least one year beyond graduate assistant level) preferred. Master's degree and commitment to excellent undergraduate teaching required.
