Virginia Tech is looking for HBCU grads with experience in education to join its Open Rank Educational Leadership Faculty.

Virginia Tech is located in the beautiful mountains of Southwest Virginia, offering a wide variety of cultural and outdoor recreational activities. The School of Education’s Educational Leadership program offers classes at locations throughout the Commonwealth, including Blacksburg, Abingdon, Roanoke, Richmond, Hampton Roads, and Northern Virginia. Degree programs are also offered virtually.

The Virginia Tech School of Education is seeking applications for an open-rank professor of Educational Leadership. This nine-month, tenure track/tenured faculty position is available August 2021 at the Blacksburg, Falls Church, or Richmond, Virginia, campuses. Some travel required.

Responsibilities include conducting an active research agenda; teaching courses in masters and doctoral programs that prepare students for a broad range of administrative and leadership roles in PreK-12 school systems, government agencies, and non-profit organizations; and providing service to the School, College, University, and profession. The expected/standard teaching load is two/two courses per academic year.
