The Miles and Fisher Family Fellowships are unparalleled leadership development programs designed for current school leaders who are ready to found and lead their own schools that will empower students and instill in them the academic skills and character strengths necessary to lead choice filled lives.
The Fisher Fellowship is a highly selective one-year, cohort-based leadership program that prepares school leaders to found, lead, and grow a new high-performing KIPP school. Through in-person programming, residencies in current KIPP schools, and the development of a robust school design plan, Fellows are prepared to open the doors of new schools at the end of their fellowship year. The Miles Family Fellowship is an opportunity for experienced Assistant Principals who want to lead a KIPP school in the next two years, either as a founding or successor leader.
Miles Fellows serve as an Assistant Principal in a KIPP school while taking part in programming that focuses on increasing Fellows’ leadership capacity in instructional coaching, communication, vision-setting, and stakeholder management. Fellows will engage in rich cohort experiences that support their leadership development during the programming year and beyond.
The first application deadline for the Miles and Fisher Family Fellowship is November 22nd, 2016 and you can learn more about the program by
