Yale School of Medicine, is looking to hire multiple candidates to provide and support research activities in the Section of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. Working under the supervision of the Section chief or designated program leaders, play a central role in human (NIH, foundation or industry) related research. Responsibilities include but not limited to: a) Perform chart review to identify specific criteria for studies; participate in presentations or orientation of subjects or participants. b) Collect and handle specimens in the clinic or laboratory environment as required. b) Processes and summarize data using scientific or statistical techniques and assist in data interpretation and analyses. c) Get trained in molecular biology, genomics and precision medicine d) Participate in manuscript preparation and data presentation. d) Interacts with regulatory committees and provides data for Human subject or budgetary committees. They are expected to make a significant contribution to the clinical, educational, and research missions of the section. e) Pursue an independent research project in a field relevant to the Principal Investigator expertise; f) Achieve competence in basic biostatistics using R or SPSS through course work, mentoring, and independent study”.
